Ready for Easter Breakfast at Church

We enjoyed a great meal at church this morning for Easter. This picture, of course, was taken before the meal. Some of us aren't such neat eaters and would never have looked this good after the pancakes, sausage, and eggs.

On Saturday, we were able to visit our new adorable cousin while she was still in the hospital. Aunt Kelly graciously allowed the kids to hold Riley. We love her already!

I don't have all the details, sorry. But isn't she absolutely adorable???? Can't wait to hold her.

Happy Birthday Gavin!

What a smile on his face, huh? And notice that half the candles are blown out and half aren't? We were still singing the Happy Birthday song and he started blowin'! Not sure why....and see the little green thing on the left side of the picture? That turns out to be his favorite present this year. A self inflating whoopee cushion.

He can be a handful but this little guy is one of my favorite kids. I tell him that all the time (I tell Shannon, Alex, and Chase that same thing too).

He was so excited all day long for his birthday that he crashed the following night and was asleep before 7:30 p.m. That almost never happens in the Salgat house!

She jumped over all the hurtles and didn't knock down a single one.
It was freezing once the sun went away.
I think she had fun though.

What in the world??

We read that you can save your used egg shells, fill them with potting soil, plant seeds in them, and then transfer the plants (shells and all) to your garden in the spring.

We'll let you know if it works.

Girl Scout Cookie Pushers

Just wanted to let you know about the crazy night in the Daryl and Tamera household. We sorted out 171 boxes of girl scout cookies! Congrats to my daughter on being the second place seller in her troup just behind the troup leader's daughter, of course.
